Spring Break on the Oregon Coast, specifically in Pacific City, can be full of exciting, interesting adventures or relaxing beach walks and s’mores by the fire. This Spring Break has some great fun, family-friendly opportunities.

March 25 – 31 Spring Whale Watch Week. Gray whales are visible from Oregon’s shore nearly year-round, but two weeks every year are special! The winter and spring Whale Watch Weeks along the Oregon coast are recognized as some of the best opportunities to view the annual gray whale migration anywhere in the world. The sheltered waters near Cape Kiwanda in Pacific City are a great place to see these amazing creatures.beach-clean-up

April 1 SOLVE Oregon Coast Spring Cleanup. Join SOLVE and thousands of volunteers as we cle
an up litter and marine debris throughout the entire Oregon coast! Nearby organized clean up spots in Pacific City, Neskowin and Sandlake.

March 26 – April 6 Festival of Illusions.Lincoln City (just a quick 30 minute drive from Pacific City) is magic during Spring Break! Visit the Lincoln City Cultural Center from March 26 through April 7, 2017 for a week full of amazing performances and learn from the pros at a one-of-a-kind magic camp for kids during the Festival of Illusions.

banner-1_med_hrMarch 25- April 9 The Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad. Ride the historic steam train along the coast. Special train schedules throughout Spring Break run between Garibaldi (which is about 40 minutes North of Pacific City) and Rockaway Beach.

April 21 – 23 Pacific City Birding and Blues Festival. Birding and other naturally minded events located in Pacific City and throughout our beautiful area during the day. Fantastic blues music at local venues at night. 9th year of this annual event.
